ARTWORKS : MON FRITE MERGUEZ 116 X 81 CM (Private collection)

TEXT OF THE WORK

"Frites Merguez" is a work that evokes childhood memories associated with the friterie, an iconic place in the North of France. Through this creation, I aim to capture not only the flavors and aromas that permeate these moments of life but also the warm and friendly atmosphere that prevails in these establishments.

Friteries in the North are much more than just a place to eat; they reflect a culture and a tradition. The scent of golden, crispy fries and the aroma of grilled merguez bring to mind precious moments spent with family or friends, where sharing and the joy of living are at the heart of every interaction.

The theme was born from the creation of a courtyard in the north of France.

The stained glass spirit of Aket Kubic is characterized by geometric shapes, clean lines, and vibrant colors. He seeks to express concepts and emotions through the use of color and light, rather than limiting himself to religious or historical narratives.

ARTWORKS : LE CHANT DES MOUETTES 116 X 81 CM (AVAILABLE)

TEXT OF THE WORK

"The Song of the Seagulls" is an ode to the city of Dunkirk, its port, its factories, and its festive atmosphere. Through this work, I aim to capture the very essence of this vibrant city in the North of France, where the sea and industry meet to create a unique ambiance.

Dunkirk, famous for its port, is a place where the comings and goings of boats and the cries of seagulls form a constant melody.

Aket Kubic's work contributes to enriching the field of modern stained glass, demonstrating that the art of stained glass can evolve and adapt to contemporary movements.

Triptyque CAPHARNAÜM

TEXT OF THE WORK

"Le Caphanaüm is a captivating work that explores the childhood dream of being part of a boy band. Through this creation, the author delves into the fascinating world of pop music and young talent groups, highlighting the aspirations and emotions that accompany such dreams.

The piece traces the journey of a protagonist who, from a very young age, is captivated by the energy and charisma of boy bands. He dreams of sharing the stage with his idols, experiencing thrilling adventures, and receiving the adoration of fans. This desire to belong to a group, to forge strong connections with other artists, and to express himself through music becomes the central theme of his story.

As the narrative unfolds, it addresses the challenges and realities of the music industry, often harsh and demanding. The protagonist's struggles lead him to reflect on his identity, friendship, and the pursuit of self-discovery. Through poignant scenes and moments of doubt, the story resonates with anyone who has ever dared to dream big."
