Once again, a big thank you to the city of @dunkerque__ in Petite-Synthe and to the cottage for their warm welcome and support throughout this project.
This mural represents Georges Guynemer, a famous French fighter pilot from World War I. Born on December 24, 1894, in Paris, he became one of the aces of French aviation, achieving numerous aerial victories.

« It is a tremendous honor for me to paint here. Having grown up in this neighborhood and walked its streets countless times in my 205 CJ, I am thrilled to create this work that represents Georges Guynemer. To me, he embodies strength and courage.
Painting this mural is much more than just an artistic project; it is a way to pay tribute to a hero from our history. Georges Guynemer, with his boldness and spirit of sacrifice, symbolizes values that I hold dear. Each brushstroke on this mural is a celebration of his legacy and an inspiration for future generations.
I am eager to see the reactions of the residents and share this moment with them, as this artwork belongs to our community. By creating a connection between the past and the present, I hope to encourage everyone to draw upon these qualities of strength and courage to overcome the challenges of everyday life. »
